Christena Murphy

Christena has a deep respect for the environment and wildlife. She actively opposes overdevelopment and is an advocate to preserve and create open spaces in our communities. She joins Balloon Mission as our Communications Coordinator, working on a monthly newsletter and sharing Balloon Mission's message, growth and impact. Christena feels passionately about our cause having witnessed balloon litter on our local beaches, as well as witnessing an Osprey with a balloon ribbon wrapped around its wing. She is currently part of an ongoing citizen data project collecting balloon litter from beaches along the Long Island Sound.
