2 Bins for 1 Balloon Mission
1 to Collect + 1 to Recycle
On our mission to create new eco-friendly ways to honor life’s moments and safeguard people, animals, and the natural world from the unintended harm that balloons can cause, we created the FIRST balloon collection and recycling program in the United States!
At Balloon Mission, we’re committed to promoting responsible balloon practices, preventing balloon litter, and protecting the planet from single-use waste.
We're committed to reducing the environmental impact of balloons released into the air or left as plastic pollution after celebrations.
Step up for the Planet with our Sustainable Celebrations! Collect & Recycle With Us!

How Does Balloon Recycling Work?
The power of partnerships makes our Collection & Recycling program possible!
We are creating modern solutions by partnering with Millennium Steel, which manufactures our balloon collection bins, and TerraCycle, which recycles all balloon materials. With Balloon Mission, these two separate companies have come together to offer one sustainable solution for responsible celebrations. This eco-friendly partnership ensures that balloons get a second life and are never sent to a landfill.
10% of each purchase helps support our Balloon Mission.
Together, we're inspiring a new movement in balloon culture and making it easy to never let balloons fly in the sky!

No Balloon Bin? Mail them in!
Our mission is bold: to bring a balloon collection program to every town and balloon seller across the U.S. and reduce this single-use waste in our environment. And while building a movement in responsible celebrations takes time, education, and funding, people like you are already leading the way by collecting and mailing in balloons to us for recycling!
Every balloon mailed to us and recycled is one less plastic going to a landfill.
Once the fun is done, pop-n-drop balloons in a mailer envelope (latex, foil, ribbons). Reuse any shipping mailer (paper, cardboard, or plastic), add your balloons, and squeeze all the air out to maximize space. Then mail to:
